    Biography
    I am a sculptor working with wood. In addition to concrete material, wood is also the conceptual starting point of my works. At the moment I am a doctoral candidate at the Academy of Fine Arts, Helsinki. In my artistic research, I approach wood, handicraft-based processes and the memory contained in materials from an ecological and ethical perspective. I also ponder how an art piece could be a gesture that enables many kinds of encounters.
